Bellydance Classes
Bellydance classes for beginners, in the Bloomfield House Hotel Mullingar. Classes start on Monday 13th of Sept 8pm-9pm. The classes run for a block of 8 weeks. This is a class for women of all ages, shapes and sizes. We dance in our bare feet and you don't have to show your belly! We dance to a mixture of traditional Arabic music as well as chart music such as Shakira and Lady Ga Ga! No previous dance experience is required.

About the dance
Bellydance is art form passed down over the centuries, taking influences from many parts of the world. It is a very beautiful dance being both sensuous and hypnotic. Most women find it therapeutic and many say it connects mind body and soul. It increases confidence and self-worth. Some have found it has helped relieve depression. Although bellydance is an exercise and will help improve body tone, mobility and flexibility over time, the essence of bellydance is not about changing your body shape, or trying to get rid of your belly….it’s about embracing who you are. It’s a celebration of being a woman and loving your curves. My heart sinks every time I hear a woman say “maybe when I loose a bit of weight I might start.” In this class you learn how to move your body the way it is now! It’s about accepting and loving yourself the way you woke up this morning! There are a limited number of places available so booking is essential.
